Parish Directory

After nearly a dozen years, we are looking to have a new directory published. By “new directory,” we mean a pictorial directory, something very common in church life. We would like to have full participation. Therefore we are hoping that you will schedule a photo session. We plan to have photographers present here beginning the afternoon of June 28th, extending through July 2nd. A second set of photo sessions will be lined up for the later part of July. There are no strings attached. We simply want you to be included. You will receive a free eight-by-ten and also a copy of the finished directory. You may or may not decide to have additional pictures taken. As for scheduling, this can be done electronically, or it can be done seeing one of our volunteers after Mass. Beginning the weekend of May 28/29 we will have volunteers in place after each of the Masses. This will continue into the first part of June. As for the online option, you can access www.ucdir.com, using the church code mi1628 and typing in “photos” for the password. The online process will be suspended during the weekends that we have our volunteers set up. Once the handwritten appointments have been uploaded, then the online process will be resumed.

Please accept this invitation. And encourage your fellow parishioners. The hope is that this project will spark a sense of renewal for our community. It could be said that we need a new beginning, after having gone through such a prolonged period of confusion and isolation.
